Competitive Jurnal Akuntansi dan Keuangan is a publication of scientific research in the field of accounting issued by University of Muhammadiyah Tangerang periodically every six month for the purpose of communication media and disseminate scientific information between campuses with stakeholders.

Peer Review Process
Criteria for publication
Competitive Jurnal Akuntansi dan Keuangan receives many article related to submissions to be published. Thus, peer-reviewers accept articles selectively and reject the papers which may need intolerable revisions. To be published in the Competitive Jurnal Akuntansi dan Keuangan Journal, a paper should meet four general criteria:
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Presenting considerable evidence for its conclusions.
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Clear novelty.
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Distinct significance for scientists in the field.
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Open for inter or multi disciplinary studies.
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Pass Turnitin Similarity Test
Overall, the acceptable paper should represent an outstanding comprehension which is liable to inspire the thinking develepment of the field. There should be a perceptible reason as to why the work deserves to be published in the Competitive Jurnal Akuntansi dan Keuangan  Journal.
Review Process
- Initial Screening:Â The Editor-in-Chief or Handling Editor assesses the submission for scope, formatting compliance, and basic scientific quality.
- Assignment to Reviewers: Typically, two independent reviewers are assigned to each manuscript. A third reviewer may be invited in cases of conflicting recommendations.
Evaluation Criteria:Â Reviewers assess the manuscript for:

Methodological rigor

Clarity of presentation

- Decision-Making: The Editor-in-Chief makes the final decision, considering reviewers’ comments and the journal’s editorial standards.
- Provide objective, constructive, and timely feedback.
Maintain confidentiality and refrain from using any part of the manuscript for personal advantage.
Disclose any conflicts of interest immediately to the editor.
Report any suspicions of plagiarism, ethical misconduct, or data fabrication.
Respond to reviewers’ comments clearly and comprehensively in a point-by-point response letter.
Revise the manuscript according to the reviewers’ and editors’ feedback within the specified time.
Maintain ethical standards in data collection, analysis, reporting, and citation.
Initial editorial decision:Â within 2Â weeks of submission.
Reviewer feedback:Â within 2-4 weeks after the assignment.
Revised submission:Â within 2 weeks after receiving feedback.
All submitted manuscripts and reviewer reports are treated as confidential documents.
Information is not disclosed to anyone outside the editorial process without the authors’ or reviewers’ consent.
Anonymity
We conduct blind review so to authors and the reviewer unknown each other. Unless the reviewers feel so strongly to identify the author, nonetheless, we prefer that reviewers are anonymous throughout the review process and beyond.
Peer-reviewer Selection
Reviewer selection is essential for publication process based on many factors, including expertise, reputation, specific recommendations and our experience of reviewing the publication process. Â Furthermore, we ensure the potential reviewers before sending them manuscripts to review.
Writing the review
The main purpose of the review is to provide the editors with the information needed to determine the accepted manuscripts. The review should also advise the authors as to how they can rewrite for better paper to comply with editorial requirements. As far as possible, a negative review should explain to the authors the weaknesses of their manuscript, so that rejected authors can understand the basis for the decision and see in broad terms what needs to be done to improve the manuscript. This is secondary to the other functions, however, and referees should not feel obliged to provide detailed, constructive advice to the authors of papers that do not meet the criteria for the journal (as outlined in the letter from the editor when asking for the review).

Competitive Jurnal Akuntansi dan Keuangan is a peer-reviewed journal, available in print and online and published two times a year in January and July,Â
Open Access Policy
This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.
This journal is open access journal which means that all content is freely available without charge to users or / institution. Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to full text articles in this journal without asking prior permission from the publisher or author. This is in accordance with Budapest Open Access Initiative

Journal History
- Jurnal competitive : Akuntansi dan Keuangan berdiri mulai tahun 2017.
- Jurnal competitive : Akuntansi dan Keuangan dalam Vol. 1 no. 2 (2017) hingga vol. 3 no. 2 (2019), hanya menerbitkan tujuh artikel di setiap terbitannya. dengan memperhatikan template sesuai standar kaedah penulisan artikel.Â
- Jurnal competitive : Akuntansi dan Keuangan dalam Vol. 4 no. 1 (2020) dan Vol. 4 no. 2 (2020), mulai menambah jumlah artikel didalam terbitannya menjadi sepuluh artikel. dengan memperhatikan template sesuai standar kaedah penulisan artikel.
- Jurnal competitive : Akuntansi dan Keuangan mulai Vol. 5 no. 1 (2021) hingga terbitan selanjutnya, akan menambah jumlah artikel didalam terbitannya menjadi dua puluh lima artikel. dengan memperhatikan template sesuai standar kaedah penulisan artikel.Â
- Jurnal competitive : Akuntansi dan Keuangan mulai Vol. 8 no. 1 (2024) hingga terbitan selanjutnya, akan mengurangi jumlah artikel didalam terbitannya menjadi 15 (lima belas) artikel. dengan memperhatikan template sesuai standar kaedah penulisan artikel.
- Jurnal competitive : Akuntansi dan Keuangan mulai Vol. 8 no.1 (2024), akan dikenakan biaya publikasi sebesar Rp. 500.000.
- Jurnal competitive : Akuntansi dan Keuangan pada terbitan Vol 7 no. 1, Vol. 7 no.2 dan Vol. 8 no.1 (2024), terjadi keterlambatan dikarenakan adanya percobaan sabotase atau hack dari oknum yang tidak bertanggung jawab, dan alhamdulilah kendali ojs jurnal telah kembali dengan sepenuhnya dipegang oleh pengelola jurnal resmi.
