Editorial Policies

Focus and Scope

The Engineering Journal is a collection of articles from various engineering study programs and Education, Science and Technology, namely Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering and Information Engineering, Marine Technology, Marine Fisheries Technology, Agricultural Technology, or other engineering study program articles. P-ISSN 2302-8734 and E-ISSN: 2581-0006. Engineering journals accept articles from the general public in the field of engineering, both regional and national, all journals will be processed according to the applicable OJS publication procedures. In volume 8 edition all articles entered are limited by a maximum check plagiarism of 30%, for subsequent editions of vol. 9 onwards all articles are limited by a maximum of 20% check plagliarism. Articles must be submitted directly by the author with the author's email.

Peer Review Process

The submitted manuscript is first reviewed by an editor. It will be evaluated in the office, whether it is suitable for International Journal of Advances in Intelligent Informatics focus and scope or has a major methodological flaw and similiarity score by using iThenticate.

The manuscript will be sent to at least two anonymous reviewers (Single Blind Review). Reviewers' comments are then sent to the corresponding author for necessary actions and responses.

The suggested decision will be evaluated in an editorial board meeting. Afterwards, the editor will send the final decision to the corresponding author.

Review Outcomes

Utilizing feedback from the peer review process, the Editor will make a final publication decision. The review process will take approximately 1 to 3 weeks. Decisions categories include:

  • Reject - Rejected manuscripts will not be published and authors will not have the opportunity to resubmit a revised version of the manuscript to JIKA.
  • Resubmit for Review– The submission needs to be re-worked, but with significant changes, may be accepted. However, It will require a second round of review.
  • Accept wtih Revisions - Manuscripts receiving an accept-pending-revisions decision will be published in JIKA under the condition that minor/major modifications are made. Revisions will be reviewed by an editor to ensure necessary updates are made prior to publication.
  • Accept - Accepted manuscripts will be published in the current form with no further modifications required.

Correspondence

All correspondence concerning manuscripts should be directed to the Editor of JT and cc to jurnalteknikumt@gmail.com. The Editor will direct all correspondence to the lead author; the lead author is responsible for sharing communications with other authors. Beyond communication concerning the review, manuscripts accepted for publication may require additional correspondence to complete copyediting and layout editing.

 

Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.
