MENGENAL HERMENEUTIKA MELALUI MUHAMMAD SHAHRUR DAN HASSAN HANAFI

Tafsir sebagai bagian dari studi Al-Qur’an menjadi satu aktifitas yang diyakini mampu memenuhi kebutuhan dalam menampakkan keluhuran kandungan Al-Qur’an. Hassan Hanafi dan Muhammad Shahrur berusaha melakukan kritikkan terhadap penafsiran klasik yang sudah berkembang sejak lama, mereka mengajukan metode penafsiran yamg berbeda terhadap Al-Qur’an yakni hermeneutika, metode penafsiran ini dikembangkan sebagai jawaban dan respon Al-Qur’an dalam menjawab persoalan ummat manusia dan dianggap mampu -secara berbeda dengan model penjelasan al-Qur’an dengan yang lalu- menjelaskan Al-Qur’an secara komprehensif.References
