Teras Psynesia: Indonesian Journal of Islamic Psychology and Research

Teras Psynesia: Indonesian Journal of Islamic Psychology and Research (p-ISSN [xxxx-xxxx], e-ISSN [xxxx-xxxx]) was launched in 2025 as an international academic journal published by the Faculty of Islamic Studies, Universitas Muhammadiyah Tangerang, Indonesia. The journal serves as a teras (scholarly platform) to bring together ideas, research, and innovations in Islamic Psychology, rooted in the Indonesian context while welcoming contributions from a global perspective.

Teras Psynesia is published twice a year (March and December) and prioritizes research-based articles, along with conceptual papers and critical reviews addressing contemporary issues in Islamic Psychology, mental health, spirituality, education, and cultural interaction. The journal actively invites authors worldwide to explore the intersection of Islam, psychology, and modern societal dynamics.

All submitted manuscripts undergo a rigorous Double-Blind Peer Review by both international and national experts in relevant fields. This process ensures academic excellence, research originality, and meaningful contributions to the advancement of Islamic Psychology globally.

Starting from Volume 1 Issue 1 (2025)Teras Psynesia  accepts manuscripts in both English and Indonesian, with a clear orientation toward internationalization. Authors are required to prepare manuscripts according to the journal’s template and guidelines, accompanied by professional proofreading certificates (for English submissions) and similarity check reports.

With a long-term vision to become a highly reputable and internationally indexed journal (Scopus, Web of Science), Teras Psynesia warmly welcomes scholars, researchers, and practitioners from around the world to contribute in shaping a cross-cultural, contextual, and impactful discourse in Islamic Psychology.
