Author Guidelines
A. General Guidelines
Starting from Volume 1 Issue 1 (2025), Teras Psynesia accepts manuscripts in both English and Indonesian, with a preference for well-proofread English manuscripts to support internationalization.
Manuscripts must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration for publication elsewhere.
Manuscripts should demonstrate novelty, academic rigor, and relevance to Islamic Psychology.
The length of manuscripts should range from 5,000–6,000 words (including title, abstract, keywords, references, tables, and figures) or a maximum of 15 pages. Manuscripts exceeding 15 pages will incur an additional fee of IDR 100,000 per page.
Manuscripts must be prepared in Microsoft Word format (.doc/.docx) using the following standards:
Paper size: A4 (210 x 297 mm)
Layout: One column
Font: Times New Roman, 10 pt
Line spacing: 1.5
Margins: 3 cm (top, bottom, left, right)
All submissions must follow the IMRAD structure: Introduction – Method – Results – Discussion – Conclusion – Acknowledgement (Optional) – References.
The review process applies a Double-Blind Peer Review system. Authors must ensure that the submitted file does not contain their name or affiliation.
Decisions regarding acceptance, revision, or rejection will be communicated via the corresponding author’s email.
B. Structure of Manuscript
Title
Written specifically, concisely, and effectively (8–12 words).
Must reflect the core issue of the research.

Abstract structure: (1) Background, (2) Objective, (3) Method, (4) Results, (5) Conclusion.
Include 3–5 keywords.
Introduction
Contains: (1) Background and context, (2) Literature review, (3) Research question(s), (4) Aim(s) of the study.
Research Method
Contains: (1) Research design, (2) Data source, (3) Data collection techniques, (4) Data analysis.
Must be written in narrative form, avoiding bullet points or numbering.
Results and Discussion
Present findings systematically and discuss their relevance.
Tables: Title above, source (if any) below, no vertical lines.

Must follow APA 7th edition style.
Contain 30–50 references, with at least 80% from journal articles (published in the last 5–10 years).
Authors are strongly encouraged to use reference management software (e.g., Mendeley, Zotero, EndNote).

In-text citations use the author-date system: (Smith, 2020).
Multiple references: (Jeong, 2007; Stoker, 1998; Thomson et al., 2007).

Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
- The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
- The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
- Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
- The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
- The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
- If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.
