DEMO PENGGUNAAN FITUR ARTIFICIAL INTELLIEGENCE (AI) DALAM TEKNIK PRODUKSI VISUAL EFFECT PADA FILM PENDEK “GETAWAY”

Abstract


ABSTRAK

Visual effect adalah salah satu bidang yang menarik perhatian di zaman ini. Selain karena digemari kebanyakan kalangan, namun di dalam proses pembuatan visual effect ini memiliki banyak tantangan baik sebelum, saat, maupun setelah proses syuting. Di waktu yang bersamaan, perkembangan AI (Artificial intelliegence) memiliki perkembangan yang signifikan. Salah satunya adalah dalam penggunaan dalam membantu produksi visual effect. Akan tetapi, teknologi ini tidak sepenuhnya sempurna. Banyak hasil dari artificial intelliegence yang tidak sempurna, tidak bagus, dan sebagainya. Oleh karena itu, penulis disini ingin mencari pemecahan masalah yang ada secara khusus di bidang visual effect compositing, salah satunya adalah pada penggunaan green screen dimana penulis memisahkan aktor dengan latar belakang sebelum menggabungkannya dengan latar belakang secara 3D. Beberapa jenis Ai yang penulis gunakan disini adalah yang membantu dalam proses memisakhan aktor dengan latar belakang dan membantu proses pencashayaan ulang di proses compositing.

ABSTRACT


Visual effects are one of the fields that attract attention in this era. In addition to being popular with most people, the process of making visual effects has many challenges both before, during, and after the shooting process. At the same time, the development of AI (Artificial Intelligence) has developed significantly. One of them is in its use in helping the production of visual effects. However, this technology is not completely perfect. Many results of artificial intelligence are imperfect, not good, and so on. Therefore, the author here wants to find a solution to the problems that exist specifically in the field of visual effect compositing, one of which is the use of green screen where the author separates the actor from the background before combining it with the background in 3D. Some types of AI that the author uses here are those that help in the process of separating the actor from the background and help the re-lighting process in the compositing process.
