WATAK PADA TOKOH UTAMA DAMAR DALAM FILM “SAMPAI JADI DEBU” KARYA EMAN PRADITA

Abstract

The drama in this movie features the story of a man named Damar. A big dilemma for Damar when he finds out about his mother's disease, Alzheimer's disease, a disease that makes his mother forget simple things that will certainly endanger his mother. This article aims to analyze the character of the main character Damar in the film "Sampai Jadi Debu". The method in this research uses descriptive qualitative. The data analysis techniques carried out in this study are as follows: (1) data classification; (2) data analysis; (3) and concluding data. The approach used in this research is literary psychology. The data source is in the form 2 of quotes and screenshots through the Netflix application which includes Adolescence and Sentiment. The data collected is by observing and listening directly to the movie drama "Sampai Jadi Debu", then recording data including Adolescence and Sentiment from the character Damar. The results of the research in this article, namely there is a balance of personality structures in the main character Damar, namely adolescene and sentiment.
