WATAK TOKOH UTAMA DALAM FILM “KUKIRA KAU RUMAH†KARYA UMAR SHAHAB (KAJIAN PSIKOLOGI SASTRA)

Abstract

This research focuses on a literary psychological analysis of the main character in the film "Kukira Kau Rumah" by Umar Shahab. The aim of this research is to examine the character and personality of the main character of the film, namely Niskala, played by Prilly Latuconsina.The research method used is literature study, by examining various library sources relevant to the topic of literary psychology. Based on the analysis, it was found that the character Niskala had mental health problems, which were reflected in his temperamental attitude, irritability, and display of disrespectful behavior in the campus environment. This affects his social interactions with friends around him.The research results show that the film "Kukira Kau Rumah" succeeded in raising mental health issues in the context of students, which had an impact on social media and the people who watched it. Literary psychological analysis of the character Niskala provides a deeper understanding of mental health disorders and the importance of paying attention to individual mental well-being.
