MARGINILISASI GENDER TERHADAP TOKOH UTAMA FILM PENYALIN CAHAYA

Women have always been the main figures in the form of gender injustice to this day. Like in the film Copying Light where the main character gets indecent treatment, namely sexual harassment from his theater friends. Seeking justice but not getting it. The method used in light-copying films is a qualitative research method, where this method is used by observing what happens to the main character and its surroundings, with the aim that women avoid harassment experienced by women. The sexual harassment experienced by the main character seeks justice that he does not want, fighting alone to get justice that he is a victim of harassment. Getting violence from the surrounding environment, which makes the criticism of feminism in this film. By using a mimetic approach in observing light-copying films, the results of the research in this film show that women who receive sexual harassment do not have strong evidence, are inadequate economically, do not get justice and instead get discrimination against Suryani figures, it can be concluded that the results of this study are a form of gender injustice that occurs in women.Referensi
