PROSPEK BAITUL MAAL WAT TAMWIL (BMT) DALAM MEMAJUKAN PENGUSAHA MIKRO

Tujuan didirikannya BMT adalah meningkatkan kualitas usaha ekonomi untukkesejahteraan anggota pada khususnya dan masyarakat pada umumnya. Pengertian
tersebut di atas dapat dipahami bahwa BMT berorientasi pada upaya peningkatan
kesejahteraan anggota dan masyarakat. BMT bergerak untuk membantu masyarakat
mikro dan kecil, baik untuk meningkatkan usaha maupun dalam meningkatkan
manajemen usaha kecil. Prospek Baitul Maal Wat Tamwil yang menggunakan konsep
syari’ah kian bersinar di Indonesia, sebab BMT mampu menarik perhatian masyarakat
bahkan lembaga keuangan Internasional. Di Indonesia BMT membuktikan dapat
mengentaskan kemiskinan dan membuka lapangan kerja bagi pengusaha – pengusaha
mikro.
