Beyond Citation Counts: Dampak Penerbitan Artikel terhadap Pengembangan Karir Peneliti Keperawatan

 Penelitian merupakan hal penting dalam pengembangan ilmu keperawatan dan peningkatan kualitas asuhan keperawatan. Praktik berbasis bukti (Evidence based Practice) merupakan sebuah pendekatan dalam keperawatan yang didasarkan pada bukti-bukti ilmiah berkaitan dengan perawatan kesehatan. Praktik berbasis bukti saat ini telah terintegrasi dalam berbagai bidang keilmuan keperawatan, seperti keperawatan komunitas, keperawatan medikal bedah, keperawatan jiwa, keperawatan anak, keperawatan manajemen, dan lain-lain. Salah satu cara untuk mendapatkan hasil penelitian yang berkualitas sebagai dasar praktik berbasis bukti, yaitu melalui penelusuran artikel terpublikasi pada jurnal ilmiah yang memiliki proses penelaahan sejawat (peer-reviewed journal). Sementara, dampak sebuah publikasi artikel yang baik tidak hanya dinilai dari jumlah kutipan saja. Oleh karena itu, artikel editorial ini akan membahas dampak publikasi artikel pada jurnal ilmiah untuk disiplin ilmu, praktisi klinis, peneliti, dan akademisi keperawatan.
