OPTIMALISASI JARINGAN KOMPUTER DI SMK TRAVINA PRIMA DENGAN IMPLEMENTASI INTERVLAN, VLSM, DAN HSRP

Mengoptimalkan jaringan komputer di SMK Travina Prima melalui implementasi InterVLAN, VLSM, dan HSRP. Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah adanya permasalahan dalam jaringan yang ada, seperti konflik alamat IP, penggunaan bandwidth yang tidak efisien, dan resiko kegagalan jaringan yang tinggi akibat ketergantungan pada satu router utama. Untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut, dilakukan penerapan InterVLAN guna meningkatkan segmentasi dan keamanan jaringan, VLSM untuk optimalisasi alokasi alamat IP, serta HSRP untuk menyediakan redundansi router yang meningkatkan keandalan jaringan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan meliputi observasi, wawancara, dan studi pustaka, dengan pendekatan model pengembangan jaringan berbasis PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Act). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi ketiga teknologi tersebut berhasil meningkatkan kinerja jaringan secara signifikan, dengan penurunan latensi, peningkatan throughput, dan minimnya packet loss. Selain itu, keamanan jaringan juga terjamin melalui konfigurasi yang tepat pada firewall, ACL, dan enkripsi data. Implementasi HSRP berhasil mengatasi masalah kegagalan perangkat dengan failover yang efektif, memastikan ketersediaan jaringan yang tinggi. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa kombinasi InterVLAN, VLSM, dan HSRP mampu menghasilkan jaringan yang lebih efisien, andal, dan aman, sehingga mendukung operasional SMK Travina Prima secara optimal. Temuan ini diharapkan dapat menjadi acuan bagi institusi pendidikan lain dalam menghadapi tantangan serupa dalam manajemen jaringan komputer.References
