EVALUASI UX PADA E-LIBRARY ITB AHMAD DAHLAN JKT MENGGUNAKAN HUMAN-CENTERED DESIGN

ITB Ahmad Dahlan merupakan salah satu kampus yang memanfaatkan teknologi informasi, salah satu teknologi yang digunakan adalah dengan membangun aplikasi E-library ITB Ahmad Dahlan JKT. Meskipun telah mengalami pengembangan, terungkap bahwa pihak perpustakaan kampus masih menganggap aplikasi tersebut belum mencapai tingkat kesempurnaan yang optimal, baik secara tampilan maupun fitur-fitur yang belum sepenuhnya memenuhi kebutuhan pengguna. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi usability dan memberikan rekomendasi perbaikan melalui user interface dalam bentuk prototipe pada aplikasi. Pengumpulan data diawali dengan observasi dan studi literatur, dilanjutkan dengan wawancara. Pada tahap perancangan digunakan pendekatan Human Centered Design (HCD) yang terdiri dari analisis konteks penggunaan, analisis kebutuhan pengguna, pembuatan desain solusi, dan evaluasi desain solusi. Evaluasi desain awal menggunakan metode Heuristic Evaluation (HE) ditemukan 8 masalah pada prinsip heuristic dan System Usability Scale (SUS) diperoleh rata-rata skor usability sebesar 57,08. Sedangkan pada desain solusi, metode HE hanya menemukan 3 masalah dan SUS mendapatkan rata-rata skor usability sebesar 78,16, yang menunjukkan adanya peningkatan yang signifikan. Melalui wawancara akhir, dapat disimpulkan bahwa desain solusi berhasil mengatasi permasalahan desain awal. Secara keseluruhan, penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi pada pengembangan aplikasi melalui pendekatan HCD yang terintegrasi dengan evaluasi HE dan SUS, sehingga menghasilkan peningkatan usability aplikasi terhadap kebutuhan pengguna dan penerimaan yang baik untuk meningkatkan pengalaman pengguna.References

Open Data and Software Publishing and Sharing
The journal strives to maximize the replicability of the research published in it. Authors are thus required to share all data, code or protocols underlying the research reported in their articles. Exceptions are permitted but have to be justified in a written public statement accompanying the article.
Datasets and software should be deposited and permanently archived inappropriate, trusted, general, or domain-specific repositories (please consult http://service.re3data.org and/or software repositories such as GitHub, GitLab, Bioinformatics.org, or equivalent). The associated persistent identifiers (e.g. DOI, or others) of the dataset(s) must be included in the data or software resources section of the article. Reference(s) to datasets and software should also be included in the reference list of the article with DOIs (where available). Where no domain-specific data repository exists, authors should deposit their datasets in a general repository such as ZENODO, Dryad, Dataverse, or others.
