Abstract

Posyandu Melati 2 in Kelurahan Babakan still records data on pregnant women and toddlers manually using the Maternal and Child Health (KIA) handbook, resulting in slow data retrieval, a high risk of recording errors, data duplication, and difficulties in report preparation. This study aims to design and develop a web-based information system for recording data on pregnant women and toddlers. Data collection was carried out through observation, interviews, and literature review. System analysis was conducted using the PIECES method, while system development employed the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method. The system was designed using a Use Case Diagram, Activity Diagram, Sequence Diagram, Class Diagram, and Entity Relationship Diagram (ERD). The system was implemented using the Laravel framework and a MySQL database, involving four actors: the Posyandu Head, Cadre, Midwife, and Parent. System testing using the Black Box Testing method showed that all system functions ran according to requirements. The resulting system is able to manage data on pregnant women and toddlers, support examination record-keeping, accelerate information retrieval, and generate reports more effectively, accurately, and with better documentation.
