OPTIMALISASI SENSOR PROBE PADA FUEL QUANTITY INDICATOR PESAWAT ATR 72 UNTUK MENGURANGI KETIDAKAKURATAN AKIBAT KONTAMINASI JAMUR DAN MIKROBA

Ketidakakuratan indikasi bahan bakar pada pesawat ATR 72 disebabkan kontaminasi jamur
dan mikroba pada sensor probe di tangki bahan bakar. Penelitian ini menganalisis penyebab ketidakakuratan dan mengevaluasi metode pembersihan serta perawatan efektif dengan menguji empat pesawat ATR 72 (PK-WFO, PK-WGL, PK-WFR, PK-WFT). Kapasitansi probe diukur sebelum dan sesudah pembersihan menggunakan PSD60-2R Test Set, dibandingkan dengan standar pabrikan (143.2–148 pF). Hasil menunjukkan kontaminasi mikroba dan deposit hidrokarbon menurunkan kapasitansi. Pembersihan mekanis dan kimia (deterjen non-ionik, metanol, biocide treatment) berhasil meningkatkan kapasitansi rata-rata
5.25–5.34 pF pada tiga pesawat, kecuali PK-WFT tangki kiri probe 6 (4.54 pF) yang perlu diganti. Lingkungan tropis lembab mempercepat pertumbuhan mikroba. Kontaminasi mikroba dan korosi adalah penyebab utama ketidakakuratan FQI. Pembersihan rutin dan biocide treatment efektif memulihkan kinerja sensor. Rekomendasi meliputi inspeksi berkala, penggantian probe rusak, dan pelatihan teknisi untuk meningkatkan akurasi indikasi bahan bakar dan keselamatan penerbangan.
