Optimasi Kinerja Overcurrent Relay REJ 603 Untuk Sistem Kelistrikan Yang Lebih Andal

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peningkatan kinerja sistem proteksi pada jaringan distribusi listrik di Area PUSRI III, Pabrik Air Separation Plant III PT Pupuk Sriwidjaja Palembang, dengan membandingkan kondisi sebelum dan sesudah pemasangan Relay proteksi Overcurrent Relay (OCR) tipe REJ 603. Sebelum pemasangan, gangguan arus lebih yang tidak terdeteksi secara tepat waktu berpotensi menimbulkan kerusakan serius pada peralatan serta menurunkan keandalan sistem distribusi. Melalui simulasi menggunakan perangkat lunak ETAP versi 19.0.1, dilakukan pengujian terhadap respons relay proteksi terhadap gangguan arus lebih. Hasil simulasi menunjukkan bahwa OCR REJ 603 mampu mendeteksi arus gangguan dengan akurasi tinggi dan waktu respon cepat, yaitu 1,58 detik. Peningkatan ini secara signifikan mempercepat proses pemutusan gangguan dibandingkan dengan sistem proteksi sebelumnya. Pemasangan Relay REJ 603 terbukti meningkatkan keandalan dan keamanan sistem distribusi listrik, serta secara efektif meminimalkan risiko kerusakan peralatan dan gangguan operasional di area ASP-3.
