Rancang Bangun Otomasi Rumah Berbasis Arduino Uno dan Smartphone Android

Abstrak

Otomasi rumah adalah salah satu sarana penunjang kenyamanan dan keamanan yang bisa digunakan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari, tujuan penelitian ini adalah merancang bangun sistem otomasi rumah berbasis Arduino Uno dan Smartphone Android. rancang bangun ini di implementasikan dengan cara, Smartphone memberikan akses tethering ke modul Wifi ESP8266 sehingga mikrokontroler Arduino Uno terintegrasi dengan Smartphone melalui IP Address yang di Setup di aplikasi Smartphone Android. Alat ini bekerja saat Wifi dari Smartphone terintegrasi dengan modul Wifi ESP8266 melalui IP Address, dari modul Wifi ESP8266 kemudian ke mikrokontroler Arduino Uno untuk memproses perintah, dari mikrokontroler Arduino Uno kemudian ke modul relay yang bekerja sebagai saklar yang berfungsi untuk menghidupkan atau mematikan lampu dan motor DC. Hasil perancangan menunjukkan aplikasi pada Smartphone Android dapat berkomunikasi dengan modul Wifi ESP8266 dan mikrokontroler Arduino Uno dengan jarak kurang dari 40 meter.
