PENGARUH ALIRAN THERMOELEKTRIK PADA PORTABLE COOLING UNIT DENGAN SIMULASI ANSYS

Sistem pendingin dengan menggunakan termoelektrik merupakan system pendingin yang ramah lingkungan dan hemat energi. Selain itu, memiliki keuntungan yang lain seperti mudah pemasangan dan pengontrolan suhu yang diinginkan sehingga banyak diaplikasikan pada Portable Cooling Unit (PCU). Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah memodelkan Portable Cooling Unit (PCU) dengan menggunakan thermoelectric dari permukaan yang panas menjadi permukaan yang dingin. Dengan media pendinginan adalah udara yang berasal dari pettier modul yang ditiupkan dengan menggunakan kipas. simulasi dilakukan pada ANSYS fluent. Sebuah model turbulensi yang sesuai dipilih yang dapat menggambarkan aliran dalam sistem. Setelah berhasil menghubungkan perakitan dan menyiapkan kondisi prasyarat, kecepatan dan kontur suhu telah diplot untuk menunjukkan sifat aliran dan distribusi temperatur di sekitarnya serta elemen pendingin. Hasil analisis dapat membantu dalam pengembangan strategi penempatan modul pettier dan thermokople untuk lebih meningkatkan efektivitasnyaReferences
