Studi Perbandingan Kampas Rem Standar Dan Racing Serta Pengaruh Terhadap Pengereman Di Sepeda Motor Beat

Sistem pengereman memiliki peran penting dalam menunjang keselamatan dan kenyamanan berkendara, khususnya pada sepeda motor. Penelitian ini merupakan studi komparatif antara kampas rem standar dan kampas rem racing serta pengaruhnya terhadap kinerja pengereman pada sepeda motor Honda Beat. Metode yang digunakan adalah eksperimen langsung dengan mengganti kedua jenis kampas rem secara bergantian dan melakukan serangkaian uji pengereman dalam kondisi yang seragam. Parameter yang diamati meliputi jarak pengereman, waktu respon, suhu pada cakram rem, dan ketahanan terhadap brake fade. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa kampas rem racing memberikan performa yang lebih unggul dalam hal jarak pengereman yang lebih pendek dan kemampuan pelepasan panas yang lebih baik, sehingga lebih efektif digunakan dalam kondisi pengereman intensif. Sementara itu, kampas rem standar menunjukkan performa yang lebih baik untuk penggunaan harian pada kecepatan rendah, dengan karakteristik pengereman yang lebih halus dan nyaman. Dengan demikian, pemilihan kampas rem harus disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan dan gaya berkendara pengguna.
