Analisis Eksperimental Efisiensi Penyaringan Debu pada Dust Collector dengan Blower Sentrifugal 750 W

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peningkatan efisiensi pengendalian debu pada sistem blower dust collector menggunakan motor listrik sentrifugal 750 watt melalui perancangan dan pengujian kinerja filter. Pengendalian debu menjadi aspek penting dalam industri karena partikel debu yang tidak terkelola dengan baik dapat menurunkan kualitas lingkungan kerja, mengganggu kesehatan pekerja, serta mempengaruhi efisiensi proses produksi. Penelitian dilakukan menggunakan metode eksperimental dengan pendekatan kuantitatif melalui tahapan perancangan filter, pengukuran kecepatan aliran udara, perhitungan luas penampang, perhitungan debit udara, serta pengujian efisiensi penyaringan debu. Material filter dirancang menggunakan mild steel dan pipa besi yang disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan sistem dust collector. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem menghasilkan kecepatan aliran udara sebesar 1,6 m/s dengan debit udara mencapai 1852,05 m³/h. Pengujian efisiensi pengendalian debu menunjukkan nilai efisiensi sebesar 20,8% hingga 23,2% pada variasi pengujian yang dilakukan. Hasil tersebut menunjukkan bahwa rancangan filter dan pengaturan aliran udara berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan efektivitas penyaringan debu. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi referensi dalam pengembangan sistem dust collector yang lebih efisien dan mendukung peningkatan kualitas lingkungan kerja industri
