ANALISIS EFISIENSI PROSES PEMBEKUAN PADA MESIN IQF MENGGUNAKAN SIKLUS SINGLE STAGE DENGAN DOUBLE STAGE DI PT. BMI

Abstrak

Pada umumnya perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang produksi makanan seperti dalam bentuk frozen food pasti membutuhkan mesin pembekuan agar dapat membekukan hasil produksi. Dalam proses pembekuan perlu adanya tahap atau proses bahan untuk masuk ke setiap komponen-komponen. Terdapat dua siklus yang memiliki banyak perbedaan. Siklus kompresor yang digunakan untuk pembekuan dan pendinginan di PT Bumi Menara Internusa ialah siklus kompresor single stage dan ada pula siklus kompresor double stage. Dari situ akan muncul efisiensi dari masing-masing siklus. Untuk menganalisis keefisiensian kedua siklus ini memerlukan pengumpulan data secara sekunder dan primer. Rata-rata kesimpulan yang ada pada kedua siklus tersebut cenderung menguntungkan bila menggunakan siklus kompresor pembekuan double stage, dikarenakan komponen juga biaya listrik yang dibutuhkan sedikit, dan didapati hasil produksi yang lebih banyak dibandingkan menggunakan siklus kompresor single stage.
