ANALISIS HIGH OIL CONSUMTION PADA PESAWAT AIRBUS 330 DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN METODE SIX SIGMA DENGAN KONSEP FMEA (FAILURE,MEASURE,ANALYZE AND EVALUATE)

Pesawat Airbus 330 dengan tipe engine RR Trent 7000-72 mengalami high oil consumption sebesar 0,52 qrt/hour begitu juga registrasi PK-GYC mengalami ketinggian 0,46 qrt /hour yang dimana batas normal nya 0,6 qrt/hour dan juga banyak ditemukan seal debris di MCD forward sump.Akibat dari high oil consumption bearing no.3 mengalami keausan Selain itu jumlah oli yang terdapat pada oil tank selalu berkurang sehingga harus selalu menambah oli agar engine dalam keadaan aman saat terbang.Meningkatnya penggunaan jumlah oli secara terus menerus dapat mengakibatkan tingginya biaya yang dikeluarkan maskapai dalam penggunaan oli tersebut Tentu saja peran dari oil adalah hal yang sangat diperlukan dalam pengoperasian engine.Skripsi ini menjelaskan faktor penyebab yang mengakibatkan high oil consumption dan pengujian pada oil yang digunakan di pesawat dan tipe oil yang tepat juga.Pengujian dan pengecekan pun juga dilakuan di pesawat airbus 320.
