Analisis Aliran Turbin Angin Vertikal Jenis Savonius Dengan Variasi Multi-Stage With Circular Shield Menggunakan Software Solidworks

Penelitian ini membahas analisis aliran pada turbin angin vertikal tipe Savonius dengan variasi multi-stage dan penggunaan pelindung sirkular menggunakan perangkat lunak Solidworks. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan efisiensi dan kinerja turbin angin vertikal dengan memperkenalkan desain multi-stage serta melibatkan pelindung sirkular untuk memodifikasi aliran udara. Metode simulasi numerik dilakukan menggunakan perangkat lunak Solidworks untuk memodelkan dan menganalisis aliran fluida di sekitar turbin angin. Varian multi-stage dan pelindung sirkular dieksplorasi untuk mengevaluasi pengaruhnya terhadap distribusi tekanan dan kecepatan aliran. Analisis hasil melibatkan parameter efisiensi, daya yang dihasilkan, dan karakteristik aliran untuk setiap konfigurasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan variasi multi-stage dan pelindung sirkular pada turbin angin vertikal Savonius memberikan peningkatan signifikan dalam efisiensi dan kinerja keseluruhan. Pemahaman mendalam tentang pola aliran dan distribusi tekanan dapat menjadi dasar untuk perbaikan desain lebih lanjut dalam pengembangan turbin angin vertikal jenis ini. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi penting untuk pengembangan teknologi turbin angin vertikal dan dapat menjadi acuan bagi penelitian selanjutnya dalam upaya meningkatkan efisiensi energi terbarukan dari sumber angin.
