AbstractThis study evaluates the performance of a mongrel ray drawing robot onnon-metal accoutrements with emphasis on quantitative affair quality, including dimensional delicacy, line sharpness, and pattern thickness. The system integrates Inkscape as a vector- grounded design platform and GRBL as an open- source CNC stir regulator. A quantitative experimental approach was applied by varying crucial process parameters — stir speed, ray power, design resolution, and material consistence — across severalnon-metal accoutrements , videlicet acrylic, plywood, MDF, and cardboard. The results indicate that homogeneous accoutrements , particularly acrylic, give superior dimensional delicacy and repetition due to more stable thermal responses during ray commerce. In discrepancy, fiber- grounded accoutrements parade larger dimensional diversions and reduced thickness caused by anisotropic material structures. Process parameters significantly affect affair quality, where low stir speed combined with high ray power tends to reduce line sharpness due to inordinate material ablation. The integration of Inkscape – GRBL demonstrates effective geometric conformity between digital designs and physical labors with satisfactory repetition, although limitations crop when handling largely complex vector shapes. These findings emphasize the significance of material-specific parameter optimization and confirm the eventuality of open- source mongrel ray drawing systems as low- cost digital manufacturing platforms fornon-metal operations, particularly in education, prototyping, and light manufacturing.
