TEKNIK DASAR PENERJEMAHAN TEKS KEPERAWATAN BERDASARKAN POLA “NOUN PHRASE” DI SMU AL-KHAIRIYAH JAKARTA

Penerjemahan merupakan upaya untuk mengalihkan makna dari bahasa sumber ke bahasa sasaran. Akan tetapi, dalam menerjemahkan teks, para penerjemah menghadapi beberapa masalah, khususnya noun phrases. Tidak dipungkiri lagi bahwa setiap bahasa memiliki struktur yang berbeda. Oleh karena itu, penerjemahan dari satu bahasa ke bahasa lainnya memerlukan teknik dan metode. Teknik yang digunakan dalam penyuluhan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah terjemahan harfiah, dengan metode penerjemahan idiomatis. Pengabdian ini dilakukan di SMU Al-Khairiyah Jakarta Utara dengan peserta 38 siswa. 5 pola “noun phrases” menjadi inti pembahasan dalam pengabdian ini. Sebelum penyuluhan, siswa diberikan pre-test untuk melihat pengetahuan awal mereka tentang penerjemahan. Di akhir penyuluhan, siswa diberikan post-test untuk mengetahui pemahaman mereka tentang teknik yang sudah diberikan. Pada dua tes yang dibandingkan, diperoleh nilai rata-rata pre-test 70,50, sedangkan nilai rata-rata post-test adalah 83,70, yang menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan yang signifikan terkait teknik penerjemahan yang diberikan.

Abstract
Translation is transfering the message of the source language to the target language. In rendering texts, translators encounter some problems, especially the noun phrases. It is unavoidable that every language has different structures. Thus, the rendering from one language to another requires techniques and methods to resolve. The techniques used in this elucidation were literal and idiomatic translations, This dedication was conducted in SMU Al-Khairiyah Jakarta with participants of 38 students. 5 patterns of noun phrases were the subject on this discussion. Before the elucidation began, students were given a pre-test to find out their prior knowledge on the translation patterns. Then, the students were provided a post-test to get information on their understanding of the technique given. On the two tests compared, it derived a pre-test of 70.50, while the post-test was 83.70 which showed a significant improvement in the student knowledge regarding the translation techniques given.
