Islamic Civilization Studies

Islamic Civilization Studies (ICS) is an academic peer-review journal published by LPK AIKA, Universitas Muhammadiyah Tangerang, Indonesia. Islamic Civilization Studies (ICS) published half-yearly. It aims to be open access journal platform which publishes and disseminates the ideas and researches on Islamic Studies.

Islamic Civilization Studies (ICS)  focuses on topical issues and takes an interdisciplinary approach that benefits from a cross-cultural perspective: the article will explore the relationship between Islam and contemporary cultural, material, gender, economic, political, and religious expressions from different socio-scientific perspectives, such as anthropology, sociology, education, politics, international relations, ethnomusicology, arts, film studies, economics, human rights, international law, diaspora minority studies, demography, and ethics. This publication encourages interaction and relations between Islamic academic thinkers as an effort to meet various methods, paradigms and traditions of the contemporary academic world.

All submitted manuscripts will be initially reviewed by editors and are then evaluated by an Eligible Reviewers through the Double-blind Review process. This is to ensure the quality of the published manuscripts in the journal.

Before Submission

The author has to make sure that the manuscript has been prepared using Islamic Civilization Studies template following the author guidelines. The single author's paper is just for the invited author or the author who has great reputable for research or publication. The manuscript should also have been carefully proofread and similarity check (the proofreading certificate and similarity check result must be attached as supplementary file in submission process). Any manuscript which does not meet the author guidelines, focus and scope, or written in a different format, will be immediately rejected. The only manuscript which meets the Islamic Civilization Studies  standard will be processed further.
