INTEGRASI EPISTEMOLOGI HUMANIS DALAM PEMBELAJARAN ABAD 21 DI SEKOLAH DASAR: SEBUAH KAJIAN TEORITIS

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengamati bagaimana mengintegrasikan epistemologi humanistik ke dalam kerangka pembelajaran abad ke-21 dalam pendidikan dasar untuk memajukan pendidikan yang lebih humanistik. Alasan dari penelitian ini berasal dari fenomena globalisasi dan kemajuan teknologi yang mengakibatkan transformasi pendidikan dari pendekatan yang berpusat pada pengetahuan menjadi fokus yang lebih holistik pada pengembangan karakter dan potensi siswa. Studi ini menggunakan pendekatan kajian literatur yang berfokus pada teori-teori terkait epistemologi humanistik dan paradigma pembelajaran abad ke-21. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa epistemologi humanistik memahami siswa sebagai subjek yang terlibat dalam pembelajaran melalui pengalaman, pembelajaran yang bermakna, refleksi diri, dan interaksi sosial, serta pengakuan empatik. Pendidikan yang inklusif dan demokratis pada dasarnya mengusung pemikiran kritis, otonomi dalam pembelajaran, dan penghormatan terhadap keberagaman. Integrasi epistemologi humanistik memfasilitasi pengembangan pendidikan humanistik yang seimbang di era digitalisasi ini, meskipun tantangan dalam pelaksanaannya termasuk kekurangan pengetahuan dan keterampilan konvensional guru serta tidak adanya kebijakan yang mendukung prinsip-prinsip humanistik dalam pendidikan dasar. Studi ini menegaskan bahwa penerapan konsisten dari epistemologi humanistik memperkaya paradigma pembelajaran abad ke-21 dan memajukan sistem pendidikan yang ditandai oleh adaptabilitas yang lebih besar, keadilan, dan fokus pada pengembangan manusia.
