UPAYA MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN MENGENAL HURUF MELALUI MEDIA PERMAINAN ENGKLEK MODIFIKASI PADA ANAK KELOMPOK B DI PAUD MUTIARA KASIH TANGERANG

Abstract


This study aims to improve the ability to recognize letters in group B PAUD Mutiara Kasih Tangerang by applying modified engklek game media. The ability to recognize letters in question is to distinguish the shape and sound of letters that have the same shape. Namely the letters b and d, m and n, p and b, w and m, and f and v. This research uses classroom action research method. The research design used is the Karl & Taggart design. The subjects in this study were children in Group B1 at Mutiara Kasih PAUD Tangerang. Data was collected through observation, interviews, and tests. The data was then analyzed using quantitative descriptive techniques and qualitative descriptive techniques. After the action was taken by applying the modified engklek game media, there was an increase in each cycle. In the pre-cycle, a percentage of 41% was obtained, after the action until the third cycle, the percentage value was 93%. So it can be concluded that the modified engklek game media can improve the ability to recognize letters of children in group B PAUD Mutiara Kasih Tangerang.
