MATA PENCAHARIAN, KEYAKINAN, BAHASA, TATANAN SOSIAL DAN ASPEK PENGETAHUAN DALAM NOVEL TANAH BANGSAWAN KARYA FILIANANUR

Abstract

This research aims to describe social culture using a literary anthropology approach through excerpts from the novel Tanah Bangsawan by Filiananur. This research uses qualitative descriptive methods and hermeneutics which are directly related to the author's interpretation and analysis of the novel. The data source for this research is the novel Tanah Bangsawan by Filiananur. The results obtained in this research are as follows: (1) linguistic aspect: the languages used in the novel Tanah Bangsawan by Filiananur are Javanese (general), Indonesian and Dutch. (2) the religious aspect of the people in the novel Tanah Pangeran by Filiananur is very Islamic because they are followers of Islam. (3) livelihood aspect: several jobs are described in the novel, such as kyai, teacher, trader and farmer. (4) among the aspects of social organization and social systems depicted in this novel, there is still an arranged marriage system. (5) Social values in terms of the character's knowledge and personality convey a moral message that makes readers have the character of perseverance, positive thinking, humility, courage, never giving up and a sense of responsibility.
