Abstract

This study aims to describe and explain the novel to the movie Dear Nathan thank you Salma. The research formulates the problem in this study how the psychological aspects experienced by Zanna in the film Dear Nathan thank you Salma in dealing with inner conflicts and the description of the form of inner conflict experienced by Zanna in the film. This research has the aim of analyzing literary psychology by studying the psychological aspects of the character, and reducing the form of mental disorders experienced by Zanna's character. The research method used is qualitative descriptive, with the source data of the movie Dear Nathan thank you Salma written by Erisca Febriani. The results of the analysis show that the character Zanna experiences various inner conflicts due to thinking about the events she experienced. This causes mental disorders in Zanna's character. These disorders after the research described include anxiety, anxiety, trauma, stress, depression. The four psychological disorders greatly disturb the peace of life and hinder the process of self-realization in living a true life.
