AKTIVITAS RELIGI PADA FILM: “AIR MATA DI UJUNG SAJADAH” KARYA KEY MANGUNSONG: KAJIAN RELIGIUSITAS SASTRA (2023)

Abstract

The results of this research conclude that a film is an audiovisual artwork created with
the purpose of entertaining, educating, reminding about death, conveying messages
and inspiring the audience. This research aims to explore the values of religiosity in the
film Air Mata di Ujung Sajadah by Key Mangunsong in the form of ideological
religiosity (belief) and ritualistic religiosity (religious practices). The film Air Mata di
Ujung Sajadah itself tells the story of struggle, sacrifice and spiritual journey. The film
highlights themes of steadfast faith, the strength of family love and the importance of
forgiveness and acceptance. In the end, the characters in this film find peace through
forgiveness and reconciliation, demonstrating that love and faith can overcome all
obstacles and suffering.
