PROTOTIPE SMART FISH FEEDER BERBASIS AUTOMATED SYSTEM UNTUK MENINGKATKAN BUDIDAYA IKAN LELE

Pada dasarnya budidaya ikan air tawar lebih mudah dibandingankan dengan budidaya ikan air laut. Umumnya pemberian pakan ikan dilakukan dengan cara ditaburkan menggunakan tangan sehingga takaran pakan yang diberikan kurang tepat sehingga menyebabkan perkembangan ikan tidak maksimal. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah membuat automated system berupa smart fish feeder sehingga dapat meringankan pekerjaan pembudidaya dalam memberikan pakan serta meningkatkan hasil budidaya ikan dengan cara mengatur jadwal pemberian pakan dan jumlah pakan yang dikeluarkan secara otomatis. Alat pemberian pakan otomatis ini mengunakan Arduino Uno Rev3 sebagai pengendali utama komponen, RTC DS3231 sebagai sistem pengendali waktu, jadwal, dan jumlah keluaran pakan, Servo sebagai pengerak buka tutup gate untuk keluaran pakan ikan, Motor DC sebagai penyebaran pakan ke kolam. Pada penelitian ini metode yang digunakan adalah metode prototype yang terdiri dari empat tahap yaitu pengumpulan kebutuhan, proses desain, membangun prototype, evaluasi dan perbaikan. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa prototype dapat bekerja otomatis mendistribusikan 1,5 kg pakan ikan untuk 2000 benih ikan dengan ukuran kolam 4m x 2m pada kedalaman air 80cm dengan jadwal penebaran pakan pada jam 9 pagi, jam 3 sore, dan jam 8 malam.
