PERANCANGAN RECOIL SPRING COVER UNTUK EXCAVATOR PC1250-8 DI PT XX
Abstract
Maintenance adalah proses pemeliharaan atau perawatan terhadap sesuatu asset berupa barang bergerak maupun tidak bergerak. Dalam bisnis alat berat, maintenance adalah serangkaian proses yang bertujuan untuk memastikan mesin atau peralatan lainnya dapat digunakan secara berkelanjutan dan efisien dalam jangka waktu yang dikehendaki. Rusaknya recoil spring pada excavator PC1250-8 merupakan kasus yang sering terjadi, disebabkan kondisi unit yang baru belum dilengkapi dengan komponen tambahan berupa penutup (cover) sehingga dapat mencegah masuknya kotoran ke recoil spring. Akibatnya adalah rusaknya komponen recoil spring disebabkan oleh tanah, batu/krikil, dan kotoran lainnya yang masuk dan mengendap di sekitar area gerak (inner frame). Dari persoalan tersebut maka didisain suatu perancangan cover untuk mencegah kotoran masuk ke dalamnya. Proses perancangan ini menggunakan alat bantu software Autodesk Inventor 2020.
