Mengubah Wajah Parlemen Indonesia Melalui Strategi Pencitraan Positif Para Aktor Politik: Kajian Komunikasi Politik

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis strategi pencitraan positif para aktor politik (anggota DPR-RI) dalam upaya mengubah wajah parlemen Indonesia yang sudah terlanjur dianggap miring oleh publik. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deksriptif kualitatif untuk mendeskripsikan apa dan bagaimana strategi pencitraan positif yang dilakukan oleh para aktor politik dalam rangka mengubah wajah parlemen (DPRRI). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa para aktor politik belum mampu memanfaatkan strategi pencitraan politik yang memadai. Selain itu, fungsi media relations yang ada juga belum berjalan dengan baik dalam mengelola citra sebagai lembaga perwakilan rakyat Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa para aktor politik belum melakukan strategi pencitraan positif yang memadai. Selain itu, fungsi strategis media relations Humas DPR-RI dalam membangun citra parlemen juga belum berjalan secara maksimal.

This study aims to analyze the positive imaging strategies of political actors (members of DPR-RI) in an effort to change the image of the Indonesian parliament that has been considered oblique by public. This research uses qualitative descriptive approach to describe what and how positive imaging strategy performed by political actors in order to change the face of parliament (DPR-RI). The results of this study show that political actors have not been able to utilize the strategy of adequate political imagery. In addition, the function of media relations also has not run well in managing the image as a representative institution of the people. This study concludes that political actors have not yet done an adequate positive imaging strategy. And also, the strategic function of media relations (Humas DPR-RI) has not run maximally in building the image of Indonesian parliament.
