Focus and Scope
Nyimak: Journal of Communication, was published twice published (March and September). In each edition, he receives original articles that will be reviewed by internal and external editors. After that, it is agreed that those with related expertise will be transferred to this article with multiple peer reviews. Nyimak (Communication Journal) will be published papers chosen under the a Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License
Nyimak: Communication Journal to encourage research in communication studies. The focus of this journal are: Public Relations, Advertising, Broadcast, Political Communication, Cross-cultural Communication, Business Communication, and Organizational Communication
The Scope of this journal is:
- Public Relations discuss about Employee Relations, Stockholder Relations, Labor relations Human relations, Press relations, Government relations, Community relations, Customer relations and Consumer relations
- Advertising discusses electronic media and print media
- Broadcast discusses the culture of broadcast media in the role of information media for disseminating information to the public
- Political communication is communication that uses messages and political actors or is related to power, government, and policy.
- Cross-cultural communication is communication between people with different cultures (eg race, ethnicity, or socio-economic)
- Business communication is an idea or agreement, information, conversations between people (private or non-personal) through various symbols to achieve company goals.
- Communication organizations that discuss organizational relations and explain the interactions between people in the organization.

Peer Review Process
Each article entered in the Nyimak journal will be sent to the editor's section through the Initial Review process. After that, the articles will be sent to peer reviewers to get the Double-Blind Peer Review Process. Then, the article will be returned to the author for revision. This process takes 2 to 3 months for the maximum time. In each text, peer reviewers will be assessed from a substantial and technical aspect. Peer reviews have expertise in media texts and analysis in accordance with the scientific field.
Publication Frequency
Nyimak: Journal of Communication is published twice a year, in March (Issue 1) and September (Issue 2). More specifically, the process of publication schedule of Nyimak: Journal of Communication as follows:

Open Access Policy
This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge. All articles published Open Access will be immediately and permanently free for everyone to read and download.
Archiving
This journal utilizes the LOCKSS system to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration. More...
Witdrawal of Manuscripts
Author is not allowed to withdraw submitted manuscripts, because the withdrawal is waste of valuable resources that editors and referees spent a great deal of time processing submitted manuscript, money and works invested by the publisher. If author still requests withdrawal of his/her manuscript when the manuscript is still in the peer-reviewing process, author will be punished with paying IDR. 1.000.000,- per manuscript, as withdrawal penalty to the publisher. However, it is unethical to withdraw a submitted manuscript from one journal if accepted by another journal. The withdrawal of manuscript after the manuscript is accepted for publication, author will be punished by paying IDR. 1.500.000,- per manuscript. Withdrawal of manuscript is only allowed after withdrawal penalty has been fully paid to the Publisher.
Plagiarism Check
Articles submitted to the Nyimak: Journal of Communication will be filtered first to avoid plagiarism using software Turnitin and Google-based search engines. The decision on the manuscript for the next process depends very much on the level of originality and the level of similarity of the articles received with other previously published articles.

For requests the journal hardcopy can be through an email journalnyimak@gmail.com bearing the subject line "Request for hardcopy" with the description of the issue requested.
