Author Guedelines

A. GENERAL GUIDELINES

  1. Starting from Volume 4 Issue 2 (2020) publishing in English. The author is advised to follow the following structural standards: Introduction - Research Methods – Results -  Discussion and Analysis - Conclusions – Acknowledgement (Optional) – References
  2. Manuscript has never been published or in the process of publishing in journal or any other publications.
  3. Manuscript is original, not a result of plagiarism, and has novelty.
  4. The length of manuscript ranges from 5000 to 6000 words, (including title, abstract, keywords, bibliography, images and tables) or or a maximum of 15 pages (more than 15 pages will get an additional fee of Rp 100,000 per page).
  5. Manuscript is written in Microsoft Word or Rich Text Format (RTF) using: A4 paper (1 Column), Calibri, 12 pt, 1.5 spaced and Margin 3 cm
  6. Manuscripts can be sent by submitting in Nyimak homepage: http://jurnal.umt.ac.id/index.php/nyimak/about/submissions#onlineSubmissions
  7. All texts are studied anonymously by reviewers who are appointed by the editors according to their expertise.
  8. For Author that will submit the new manuscript to our system, please remove the name of Author because our peer-review process is a double-blind review.
  9. Decision of publication or rejection will be informed via the author's email Address
  10. Author should read this Authors Guidelines carefully before submit the manuscripts.

B.   THE STRUCTURE OF MANUSCRIPT

1. Title. Title should be written specifically and effectively (10 - 16 words). Title must reflecting the research main problem.

2. Author & Institution. Author’s name should be written in the full name without academic title, completed with institutional affiliation and corresponding address (e-mail address). Example:

3. Abstract & Keywords. Abstract of the article is written in English and Indonesian (bilingual) and contains 200-250 word, followed by 3-5 keywords. Abstract should contain: (1) background; (2) aim; (3) method; (4) result; (5) conclusion.

4. Introduction. Introduction part for research-based manuscript should contains: (1) Background; (2) literature reviews; (3) research question(s); and (4) the aim(s) of the research. 

5. Research Method. This part contains a description on the research design. Method should contain: (1) research design; (2) data source; (3) data collecting technique; and (4) data analysis. In this section, author must avoid the use of dot points, alphabetical order, or numbering. The writing should be written as follows: (1) .…; (2) .…; (3) ….

6. Research Finding & Discussion. This part contains the findings of the research and should be written systematically. The data or information that presented only related to the purpose of research. Author can use subheads in this section as long as necessary. Author also should avoid the use of footnotes. Number and the title of the table must be place on the top-centre of the table, with the information of source (if any) on the left-below the table. Every table should be made without horizontal line. Number and title of the picture must be on the center-below the picture.

7. Conclusion. Written in 1-2 paragraph without the use of dot points, alphabetical order, or numbering.

8AcknowledgementTells the technical matters that contributed to this research, both institutionally and individually

9. References. Bibliography is compiled with APA style that is sorted alphabetically. This section only contains the sources used and quoted in the text, and all sources cited must be listed in the references and consist of at least 30 to 50 most recent reference sources (in the last 5 to 10 years and references consist of 80% of journals and 20% non -journals). Reference format See Reference (APA Style). It is better to write a reference system in articles and in the reference section using reference management programs such as Mendeley, EndNote, Zotero, or  others.

C.      CITATION

Referencing and citation uses parenthesis referral style (last name, year). Example: (Mcguire, 2006). The use of reference series is written separated by a semicolon (;) and arranged alphabetically. Example: (Jeong, 2007; Stoker, 1998; Thomson, et al., 2007).
