Pembelajaran Berbantuan Software Mathematica untuk Meningkatkan Penalaran Induktif Siswa SMA

Abstrak
Kemampuan penalaran induktif siswa SMA adalah masalah yang penting dalam pembelajaran matematika. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kemampuan penalaran induktif dan motivasi belajar siswa yang menggunakan bantuan software Mathematica pembelajaran sebagai kelas eksperimen, dibandingkan dengan siswa yang belajar tanpa menggunakan bantuan software Mathematica sebagai kelas kontrol. Penelitian ini merupakan studi eksperimen dengan disain kelompok kontrol pretes-postes. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa SMA, dengan subjek sampel kelas 10 sebanyak dua kelas yang dipilih secara acak. Data diperoleh dari instrumen tes untuk kemampuan penalaran induktif siswa. Berdasarkan penelitian yang dilakukan, secara kognitif penggunaan software Mathematica sebagai alat bantu pembelajaran dapat meningkatkan kemampuan penalaran induktif siswa.
