Screening for Plagiarism Policy

Balance Vocation Accounting Journal (BVAJ) is committed to maintaining academic integrity and ensuring the originality of all published articles. All submitted manuscripts must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration for publication in another journal.

Every manuscript submitted to BVAJ will undergo plagiarism screening using plagiarism detection software to identify similarities with previously published works and other sources.

The journal applies a maximum similarity threshold of 20%. Manuscripts exceeding this threshold may be returned to the authors for revision or rejected, depending on the extent and nature of the similarities identified. A similarity score below the threshold does not automatically guarantee acceptance, as all detected similarities remain subject to editorial assessment.

Plagiarism, self-plagiarism, duplicate publication, improper citation, and the unauthorized use of other authors' ideas, data, or text are considered violations of publication ethics. Authors must ensure that all sources are properly cited and acknowledged.

If plagiarism or other forms of academic misconduct are identified before or after publication, BVAJ reserves the right to reject the manuscript, request revisions, publish corrections, retract the article, or take other appropriate actions in accordance with its publication ethics policy.

Through this policy, Balance Vocation Accounting Journal (BVAJ) aims to uphold originality, transparency, and ethical standards in scholarly publishing.
