Author Fees
NYIMAK: Journal of Communication structures its publishing fees with absolute transparency. Authors are required to review and accept these financial terms prior to submission. Once a manuscript has progressed through the peer-review process and received a formal invoicing notice, the designated fees are fixed, final, and strictly non-negotiable.
There are no submission fees; fees are exclusively requested after a manuscript has successfully passed the peer-review process and is formally accepted for publication.
| Fee Type | Amount (IDR) | Condition |
|---|---|---|
| Article Submission Fee | Rp 0,- (Free) | Charged upon initial manuscript submission. |
| Article Processing Charge (APC) | Rp 1.350.000,- | Applied only for accepted manuscripts, covering up to a maximum of 15 pages (including title, figures, tables, and references). |
| Extra Page Charge | Rp 100.000,- | Charged per additional page for any manuscript that exceeds the 15-page limit using the official NYIMAK template. |
Strict Manuscript Withdrawal Policy & Penalty
The editorial board invests significant academic labor, operational costs, and time into processing, peer-reviewing, and layout editing each manuscript. Therefore, the unethical withdrawal of a manuscript is strictly discouraged. If an author requests to withdraw or cancel their paper after it has entered the review stage, been accepted, or is in the pre-publication phase, the author is ethically and financially obligated to pay a Withdrawal Penalty of Rp 2.000.000,-. The journal will withhold the formal withdrawal release letter until this penalty is settled in full. Unpaid violations will result in the authors and their respective institutions being blacklisted from any future publications in NYIMAK.
