Al-Muyassar: Journal of Arabic Education
Al-Muyassar: Journal of Arabic Education is a journal published twice a year (June and December), is a multilingual (Bahasa, Arabic, and English), and specializes in Arabic Education and Arabic Studies. This journal published by the Arabic Education Department, Faculty of Islamic, Muhammadiyah University (UMT).

Peer Review Process
The research article submitted to this online journal will be peer-reviewed at least 1 (one) reviewer. The accepted research articles will be available online following the journal peer-reviewing process. Language used in this journal is Arabic, English, and Bahasa.
Open Access Policy
This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

Al-Muyassar: Journal of Arabic Education is a journal published twice a year (June and December), is a multilingual (Bahasa, Arabic, and English), and specializes in Arabic Education and Arabic Studies. This journal published by the Arabic Education Department, Faculty of Islamic, Muhammadiyah University (UMT).
Publication Ethics
Publication Ethics:
It is necessary to agree on general ethical standards that are expected for all parties involved in the process of publishing Al-Muyassar: Journal of Arabic and Arabic Language Education, namely: authors, journal editors, reviewers and publishers. This statement of the scientific code of ethics is a statement of the code of ethics of all parties involved in the publication process of this scientific journal, namely managers, editors, reviewers/reviewers, and authors/writers. The statement of the code of ethics for scientific publications in the journal Al-Muyassar refers to the Head of LIPI Regulation Number 5 of 2014 concerning the Code of Ethics for Scientific Publications, which in essence, the Code of Ethics for Scientific Publications, essentially upholds three ethical values and rules in publication, namely:
Neutrality: articles submitted to Al-Muyassar are free from conflicts of interest in the management of publications.
Justice: articles sent to Al-Muyassar grant authorship rights to those who are entitled as authors or writers.
Honesty: articles submitted to Al-Muyassar are free from duplication, fabrication, falsification, and plagiarism (DF2P) in publications.
Duties and Responsibilities of Al-Muyassar Journal Manager
Determine the name of the journal, scientific scope, periodicity, and accreditation of the Al-Muyassar journal if necessary.
Determine the membership of the editorial board of the journal Al-Muyassar.
Defines the relationship between publishers, editors, review partners, and other parties to a contract.
Appreciate things that are confidential, both for contributing researchers, authors/writers, editors, and review partners.
Implement norms and provisions regarding intellectual property rights, especially copyright.
Reviewing the policies of the Al-Muyassar journal and submitting it to the authors/authors, the editorial board, reviewers, and readers.
Create a code of conduct guidelines for editors and reviewers/reviewers of the Al-Muyassar journal.
Publish the journal Al-Muyassar regularly.
Ensuring the availability of funding sources for the sustainability of the publication of Al-Muyassar journals.
Building a network of cooperation, training and marketing.
Prepare permits and other legal aspects.
Duties and Responsibilities of Al-Muyassar Journal Editor
Meeting the needs of readers and authors/writers,
Strive to continuously improve the quality of Al-Muyassar journal publications,
Implement a process to ensure the quality of papers published by the journal Al-Muyassar,
Prioritizing freedom of opinion objectively,
Maintain the integrity of the author's academic track record,
Submit corrections, clarifications, withdrawals, and apologies when necessary,
Responsible for the style and format of the writings of the Al-Muyassar journal, while the content and all statements in the written work are the responsibility of the author/writer,
Actively soliciting opinions from authors, readers, review partners, and members of the editorial board to improve the quality of Al-Muyassar journal publications,
Encouraging an assessment of the journal if there are findings,
Support the initiative to educate researchers about the ethics of publication in the journal Al-Muyassar,
Reviewing the effect of policy published by the journal Al-Muyassar on the attitudes of authors/writers and peer reviewers and improving them to increase responsibility and minimize errors,
Have an open mind to new opinions or the views of others that may conflict with personal opinions,
Not defending one's own opinion, the author or a third party that may result in an unobjective decision,
Encouraging authors/writers to make improvements to their writings so that they are worthy of publication in the Al-Muyassar journal.
Duties and Responsibilities of Bestari Partners / Al-Muyassar Journal Reviewers
Received an assignment from the editor of the Al-Muyassar journal to review written works and submit the results of the study to the editor, as material for determining the feasibility of a paper to be published in the Al-Muyassar journal,
The reviewer may not conduct a review of the written work that involves himself, either directly or indirectly, intentionally or unintentionally,
Maintain the privacy of the author by not disseminating the results of corrections, suggestions, and recommendations by providing criticism, suggestions, input, and recommendations,
Encouraging authors/writers to make improvements to papers submitted to the Al-Muyassar journal,
Reviewing the written work that has been repaired in accordance with the standards determined by the Al-Muyassar journal,
The written work is reviewed in a timely manner according to the style of the publication environment based on scientific principles (data collection methods, author's legality, conclusions, etc.).
Author's Duties and Responsibilities
Ensure that those who are included in the list of authors / authors meet the criteria as authors / authors,
Collectively responsible for the work and content of articles submitted to the Al-Muyassar journal including methods, analysis, calculations, and details,
State the origin of resources (including funding), either directly or indirectly,
Explain the limitations of the research,
Responding to comments made by bestari partners in a professional and timely manner,
Inform the editor of the journal Al-Muyassar if he will withdraw his written work,
Make a statement that the paper submitted for publication in the Al-Muyassar journal is original, has not been published anywhere in any language, and is not in the process of being submitted to another publisher.
Plagiarism Policy
Al-Muyassar: Journal of Arabic Education recognizes that plagiarism is not acceptable for all author and therefore establishes the following policy stating specific actions (penalties) when plagiarism is identified by Al-Muyassar anti-plagiarism software detection (we are using Turnitin) in an article that is submitted for publication.
“Plagiarism is copying another person’s text or ideas and passing the copied material as your own work. You must both delineate (i.e., separate and identify) the copied text from your text and give credit to (i.e., cite the source) the source of the copied text to avoid accusations of plagiarism. Plagiarism is considered fraud and has potentially harsh consequences including loss of job, loss of reputation, and the assignation of reduced or failing grade in a course."
This definition of plagiarism applies for copied text and ideas:
1. Regardless of the source of the copied text or idea.
2. Regardless of whether the author(s) of the text or idea which you have copied actually copied that text or idea from another source.
3. Regardless of whether or not the authorship of the text or idea which you copy is known
4. Regardless of the nature of your text (journal paper/article, web page, book chapter, paper submitted for a college course, etc) into which you copy the text or idea
5. Regardless of whether or not the author of the source of the copied material gives permission for the material to be copied; and
6. Regardless of whether you are or are not the author of the source of the copied text or idea (self-plagiarism).
When plagiarism is identified by the Plagiarism Checker software, the Editorial Board responsible for the review of this paper and will agree on measures according to the extent of plagiarism detected in the article in agreement with the following guidelines:
Minor Plagiarism
A small sentence or short paragraph of another manuscript is plagiarized without any significant data or idea taken from the other papers or publications.
Punishment: A warning is given to the authors and a request to change the manuscript and properly cite the original sources.
Intermediate Plagiarism
A significant data, paragraph, or sentence of an article is plagiarized without proper citation to the original source.
Punishment: The submitted article is automatic rejected.
Severe Plagiarism
A large portion of an article is plagiarized that involves many aspects such as reproducing original results (data, formulation, equation, law, statement, etc.), ideas, and methods presented in other publications.
Punishment: The paper is automatic rejected and the authors are forbidden to submit further articles to the journal.
Archiving & Electronic Backup
Al-Muyassar: Journal of Arabic Education has electronic backup and preservation of access to the content of its journals via PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN).
PKP has developed the PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN) to digitally preserve OJS journals. The LOCKSS program offers decentralized and distributed preservation, seamless perpetual access, and preservation of the authentic original version of the content. The PKP PN ensures that journals that are not part of any other digital preservation service (such as CLOCKSS or Portico) can be preserved for long-term access.
All articles published by JIFA have a Digital Object Identifier (DOI) to provide guarantees to authors regarding long-term archiving. With the DOI, all articles in JIFA will not be affected by changes to the URL currently used. Moreover, this journal utilizes the LOCKSS system to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration.
Repository Policy
All published articles in Al-Muyassar: Journal of Arabic Education are deposited in the Portal Garuda repository.
Al-Muyassar: Journal of Arabic Education allows authors to deposit all versions of their paper (submitted, accepted, and published versions) in an institutional or another repository of their choice. In this context, authors must create a link to the journal homepage or articles' DOI.
Copyright Notice
The writers who publish their articles in the journal must approve the copyright statement as follows:
1. All material contained in this site is protected by law.
2. If you find one or more articles contained in the journal that violate or potentially infringe your copyright.
3. The formal legal aspect of access to any information and articles contained in this journal site refers to the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution Share Alike (CC BY SA) license.
4. All Information contained in the journal is academic. The journal is not liable for any losses incurred by misuse of information from this site.
