1. Author Guidelines

A. General Requirements

  • Language Requirement: All articles must be written in high-quality, formal academic English adhering to standard scientific terminology and grammar.
  • Author Identification & Affiliation: Authors must state their full legal names clearly without academic titles, professional degrees, or honorific salutations. The full name must be accompanied by the department, institution/university affiliation, country, and the corresponding author's institutional email address.
  • Manuscript Length: The manuscript length should not exceed a maximum of 15 pages, including all abstract sections, tables, figures, footnotes, and bibliographic reference lists.
  • Bibliographic Reference Volume: Manuscripts must incorporate a comprehensive and authoritative bibliography with a minimum of 20 references.
  • Primary Academic Sources: A minimum of 80% of total references must consist of primary academic sources—specifically high-impact, peer-reviewed international or accredited national journal articles published within the last 10 years.
  • Reference Management Software: Authors are strictly required to manage, organize, and format all inline citations and reference entries using standard reference management software, such as Mendeley, Zotero, or EndNote.
  • Citation Style Standard: The reference style adopted by JMB is strictly compliant with the APA (American Psychological Association) 7th Edition Citation Style.
  • Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs): Active, clickable, and hyperlinked Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs) must be explicitly appended to all applicable reference entries.

B. Plagiarism Screening & Originality Policy

To uphold scientific integrity, publication transparency, and ethical publishing standards, all submitted manuscripts undergo rigorous anti-plagiarism evaluation prior to initiating peer review:

Similarity Threshold (< 20%)

Submitted manuscripts must demonstrate an overall similarity index of strictly less than 20%, as verified through Turnitin or iThenticate similarity detection software.

Self-Plagiarism & Text Recycling

Substantial copying, overlapping, or recycling of the authors' own previously published works without explicit attribution and formal citation is strictly prohibited.

Action on High Similarity

Submissions exceeding the 20% similarity threshold during initial screening will be returned to authors for mandatory revision or face immediate desk rejection depending on the severity of overlapping text.

C. Author Metadata Completeness & Single Author Policy

To expedite editorial processing, indexation, and international metadata harvesting, all submitting authors must strictly comply with metadata and authorship regulations:

ORCID iD Registration: Providing valid ORCID iDs is strongly recommended for every listed co-author (registerable at orcid.org) to guarantee unambiguous scholarly identity.
Institutional Affiliation Details: Metadata entries must explicitly state the full Department/Study Program, Faculty, Institution/University name, and Country for every author.
Valid Contact Information: Active institutional or primary email addresses must be provided for all authors to ensure seamless communication during peer review and publication stages.
Single Author Policy: Manuscripts submitted by a single/sole author are strictly reserved for Invited Keynote Authors or Highly Reputable Scholars with verified, high-impact citation records. Standard submissions are strongly encouraged to represent collaborative, multi-institutional research teams.

2. Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission workflow, authors must verify and check off their submission's compliance with all of the following requirements. Submissions that do not adhere to these criteria may be returned to authors:

4 Acceptable File Format The manuscript file is submitted in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word (.doc/.docx), or RTF document file format.
5 Reference Integrity & DOIs All bibliographic references have been verified for accuracy, adhere to APA 7th Edition style, meet the minimum 20-reference requirement (80% primary sources), and include active DOI links.
6 Illustrative Materials All tables and figures are sequentially numbered, clearly titled, provided in high resolution, and correctly cited/referenced within the main body text.
7 Copyright & Permissions Necessary written permissions have been secured for the publication of all third-party materials included in the submission, including photographs, illustrations, diagrams, and datasets.
8 APC Agreement The corresponding author, on behalf of all co-authors, explicitly agrees to the journal's Article Processing Charge (APC) policy upon formal manuscript acceptance.
9 Formatting & Style Compliance The text strictly adheres to the stylistic, length (maximum 15 pages), and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines and Official Manuscript Template.
10 Anonymity for Double-Blind Review All author identification details (names, affiliations, email addresses, explicit self-citations) have been completely removed from the main manuscript file to guarantee a strict Double-Blind Peer Review process.
