  10. References: A complete list of all sources cited in the manuscript.

The section structure may be adjusted according to the nature and methodology of the research, provided that the manuscript maintains academic rigor and clarity.

3. Title, Abstract, and Keywords

The title must clearly represent the manuscript's subject and research focus. The abstract should provide a concise overview of the research objectives, methodology, main findings, and conclusions.

Authors should provide three to five relevant keywords to facilitate indexing and retrieval. Keywords should reflect the principal concepts and topics discussed in the manuscript.

4. Tables, Figures, and Equations

Tables and figures must be numbered consecutively and provided with clear titles or captions. All tables, figures, and equations must be referred to in the manuscript text and presented in a format that ensures readability.

Authors must ensure that any tables, figures, images, or other materials reproduced from external sources are properly cited and that permission is obtained when required.

5. Citations and References

All sources cited in the manuscript must be included in the reference list, and all entries in the reference list must be cited in the text. Authors should use reliable and relevant scholarly sources, including peer-reviewed journal articles, academic books, and other credible publications.

References must be presented consistently using the citation and referencing style specified by the journal's official manuscript template. Authors are responsible for verifying the accuracy and completeness of all references, including author names, publication years, article titles, journal titles, page numbers, and DOI links where available.

6. Originality and Plagiarism

Submitted manuscripts must be original and must not contain plagiarism, inappropriate text recycling, fabricated data, falsified findings, or other forms of academic misconduct.

All sources and borrowed materials must be appropriately acknowledged. JCEB may screen submitted manuscripts using plagiarism detection software. Manuscripts that violate the journal's originality and publication ethics requirements may be rejected.

7. Authorship and Ethical Responsibilities

All listed authors must have made substantial contributions to the research and must approve the final version of the manuscript before submission. The corresponding author is responsible for ensuring that all authors agree to the submission and that the information provided to the journal is accurate.

Authors must disclose relevant funding sources and any financial, professional, or personal conflicts of interest that could influence the research or its interpretation. Research involving human participants, animals, or sensitive data must comply with applicable ethical requirements and include relevant ethical approval or consent statements where necessary.

8. Double-Blind Peer Review

JCEB applies a double-blind peer review process. Authors must prepare their manuscripts so that their identities are not disclosed to reviewers during the review process.

Author names, affiliations, email addresses, acknowledgments that reveal identities, and other identifying information should be provided in the designated metadata fields or separate title page, as instructed by the journal's submission system. Authors should also check document properties and file metadata to remove identifying information from the anonymized manuscript.

Each manuscript is independently evaluated by at least two reviewers. Authors may be asked to revise their manuscripts based on reviewers' comments and editorial recommendations.

9. Manuscript Submission

Manuscripts must be submitted through the journal's official online submission system. Authors are required to provide complete and accurate submission metadata, including the manuscript title, abstract, keywords, author information, affiliations, and other information requested by the system.

Before submission, authors should ensure that the manuscript follows the journal's guidelines, is properly anonymized for peer review, and includes all necessary supporting documents and declarations.

10. Editorial Decisions and Revisions

After editorial assessment and peer review, the editor may decide to accept the manuscript, request minor revisions, invite substantial revisions and resubmission for further review, or reject the submission.

Authors required to revise their manuscripts must address the reviewers' comments carefully and provide a clear explanation of the revisions made. The revised manuscript must be submitted within the deadline specified by the editorial office.

11. Article Processing Charge

JCEB applies an Article Processing Charge (APC) of IDR 700,000 per accepted article. The publication fee is payable after the manuscript has been accepted for publication. Payment does not guarantee acceptance, as all manuscripts are evaluated based on their academic quality, originality, relevance, and peer review results.

12. Copyright and Open Access

JCEB provides immediate open access to its published content to support the dissemination of scholarly knowledge. Authors must comply with the journal's copyright notice and applicable licensing terms when submitting and publishing their work.

Authors are responsible for ensuring that their manuscripts do not infringe upon the intellectual property rights of others and that all third-party materials are properly acknowledged.
