1. Long-Term Digital Preservation
JCEB supports long-term digital preservation through established archiving systems designed to maintain the accessibility and integrity of scholarly publications. The journal may utilize the following preservation networks, subject to their availability and active participation:
-
PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN): Provides decentralized digital preservation for eligible Open Journal Systems (OJS) journals, supporting the long-term preservation of published content.
-
CLOCKSS (Controlled Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe): Provides a distributed dark archive designed to preserve scholarly content and enable continued access under specified trigger conditions.
-
LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe): Supports decentralized digital archiving through participating libraries and institutions, helping preserve digital content and maintain access over time.

The server hosting JCEB is managed by Universitas Muhammadiyah Tangerang. Routine database backups and other appropriate server backup procedures are implemented to reduce the risk of data loss, service interruptions, and technical failures.
3. Self-Archiving and Institutional Repositories
JCEB encourages authors to deposit permitted versions of their articles, including preprints, accepted manuscripts, and published versions where applicable, in institutional repositories, academic platforms, or personal websites, in accordance with the journal’s copyright and licensing policies.
Authors are encouraged to provide appropriate bibliographic citations and DOI links to the published articles to ensure proper attribution and facilitate access to the official version of record.
4. Commitment to Digital Preservation
JCEB is committed to maintaining the integrity and accessibility of its scholarly content for the benefit of researchers, academics, and the wider community. The journal periodically reviews its archiving practices to support the continuity, reliability, and long-term availability of its published materials.
