Peer Reviewer Process
Jurnal Comparative: Ekonomi dan Bisnis (JCEB) applies a double-blind peer review system, in which the identities of authors and reviewers are concealed from each other throughout the review process. To maintain the integrity and impartiality of the review, authors must ensure that their manuscripts do not contain information that could reveal their identities.
Every submitted manuscript is independently evaluated by at least two peer reviewers with relevant expertise in the subject area. The reviewers assess the manuscript's originality, academic quality, methodological rigor, relevance, and contribution to the development of economics and business. The editorial decision is based on the reviewers' reports and recommendations, as well as the editor's assessment of the manuscript's suitability for publication.
Following the peer review process, the editor may make one of the following decisions:
-
Accept Submission: The manuscript is accepted for publication without further revisions.
-
Revisions Required: The manuscript requires minor revisions before it can be accepted for publication.
-
Resubmit for Review: The manuscript requires substantial revisions and may be reconsidered for publication after the revised version undergoes another round of peer review.
-
Decline Submission: The manuscript is rejected and will not be published in the journal.
Authors will be notified of the editorial decision and provided with reviewers' comments and suggestions, where applicable. Authors required to revise their manuscripts are expected to address the reviewers' comments carefully and submit a revised version within the timeframe specified by the editorial office.
The final decision regarding publication rests with the editorial board, taking into account the reviewers' recommendations, the quality of the revised manuscript, and its alignment with the journal's focus and scope.
