Screening for Plagiarism Policy
Jurnal Comparative: Ekonomi dan Bisnis (JCEB) is committed to maintaining academic integrity and ensuring the originality of all manuscripts submitted for publication. The journal does not tolerate plagiarism, self-plagiarism, duplicate publication, data fabrication, data falsification, or other forms of academic misconduct.
All submitted manuscripts are subject to plagiarism screening using plagiarism detection software to identify similarities with previously published works, online sources, and other academic materials. The screening process is conducted as part of the initial editorial assessment before a manuscript proceeds to peer review or further editorial evaluation.
Authors must ensure that their manuscripts are original, appropriately cite all sources, and provide proper acknowledgment for any ideas, data, text, figures, tables, or other materials derived from existing works. Reusing previously published material must be properly disclosed and comply with applicable copyright and licensing requirements.
If substantial similarities or suspected plagiarism are identified, the editorial board will assess the findings and may request clarification or revision from the authors. Depending on the severity of the violation, the journal reserves the right to reject the manuscript, discontinue the review process, retract a published article, or take other appropriate actions in accordance with publication ethics principles.
JCEB expects all authors to uphold the highest standards of honesty, originality, and academic responsibility. The final decision regarding suspected plagiarism rests with the editorial board after careful consideration of the screening results and relevant evidence.
