Article Processing Charges (APC)

Community Services and Social Work Bulletin (CSWB) is an open-access journal. To support the editorial workflow, peer-review management, copyediting, typesetting, long-term digital archiving, and open-access publishing, the journal applies an Article Processing Charge (APC) to accepted manuscripts.

Article Submission Fee

IDR 0,-

(Free of Charge)

Authors are not required to pay any submission fees upon submitting their manuscripts.

Article Publication Charge

IDR 350.000,-

(Payable Only Upon Acceptance)

This fee is charged only after the manuscript has successfully passed peer review and been formally accepted for publication.

Waiver Policy

CSWB believes that financial constraints should not hinder the publication of high-quality research and community empowerment outcomes. We provide an APC Waiver scheme subject to specific eligibility requirements:

Key Eligibility & Waiver Criteria:

  • International Collaboration Waiver: Manuscripts authored by an international collaboration team comprising authors from at least two (2) different countries outside Indonesia are eligible to apply for a full or partial APC waiver.
  • Application Method: Requests for waivers must be submitted during the initial manuscript submission process (via Comments for the Editor or an attached formal request letter). Requests submitted after acceptance will not be considered.
  • Editor's Prerogative: Granting an APC waiver is the sole prerogative of the Editor-in-Chief. Waivers are not applied automatically and are granted based on quality assessment, author justification, and institutional availability.

*Note: Inability to pay the publication fee will never influence editorial decisions regarding paper quality or peer-review outcomes. All submissions are evaluated strictly on their academic merit and contribution to the field.
