Abstract

This article aims to examine the philosophy of Muhammadiyah education as part of the philosophy of modern Islamic education, emphasizing the integration of Islamic values and the spirit of modernity. This research employs a qualitative approach using literature study methods. The analysis results indicate that the Muhammadiyah education system is based on the Qur'an and Sunnah, is dynamic in nature, and emphasizes the integration of knowledge and ethics. Education, from the Muhammadiyah perspective, is directed towards producing individuals who are knowledgeable, ethical, and capable of contributing socially. These findings indicate the relevance of the Muhammadiyah philosophy of education in addressing contemporary educational challenges based on spiritual values and scientific rationality
